ABOUT US
HISTORY
SPEARpath is a nonprofit founded by high school students. It emerged from a recognition of educational disparities within their communities, particularly in Science, Public speaking, Engineering, Arts, and Robotics (SPEAR). Driven by a shared passion for these subjects and the belief in education's transformative power, they leveraged their knowledge to launch informative programs in their communities, fostering interest and talent in SPEAR fields. The positive response led to the expansion of this small initiative into a full-fledged organization. They used generated funds to extend educational opportunities to children in orphanages, underlining their commitment to providing quality education for all children, irrespective of their circumstances, and creating an inclusive, empowering learning environment.
Srihitha Papisetti
Hi! I’m Srihitha, a sophomore at LASA High School in Austin, Texas. Outside of school, I enjoy dancing, volunteering, being part of Science Olympiad, HOSA, and STEM research. In the past, I’ve enjoyed helping others by volunteering at a food bank, animal shelter, and fundraising events. I am passionate about giving back to the community and love teaching kids. As a co-founder of SPEARpath, I am excited to make an impact and take it to the next level!
Ananya Chanda
Hi! I'm Ananya, a junior at Round Rock High School in Austin, Texas. I love singing, robotics, and exploring STEM research, especially in optimization algorithms and machine learning. Outside of school, I am an active member in choir, DECA, and volunteering to inspire young learners. As a co-founder of SPEARpath, I’m dedicated to empowering underprivileged kids through education and can’t wait to help make a difference!
Vyshnavi Rayapati
Hi! I’m Vyshnavi, a sophomore at Leander High School in Leander, Texas. I have a strong passion for both art, particularly acrylic painting, and music, especially playing the piano. Outside of school, I stay engaged by volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank, and I’m proud to be involved in DECA, debate, and MUN. I’m deeply committed to making a positive impact on my community and have a strong dedication to teaching and mentoring kids. As a co-founder of SPEARpath, I’m excited to help create meaningful change and make a difference in the world!
